        Freedom begins with SELF OWNERSHIP.

        A slave is a natural person OWNED by a person other than themselves.  Any time I do not have complete ownership of myself, I am a slaveAny time you do not have complete ownership of yourself, you are a slave.  If somebody has a higher claim on my body or my life than I do, I am a slave. If somebody has a higher claim on your body or your life than you do, you are a slave.

        Yes. It is that simple.

slav·er·y n. The condition of a slave; the state of entire subjection of one person to the will of another.  A condition of subjection or submission characterized by lack of freedom of action or of will.
