It's the Definitions, Dummy.A little fun with words:It is my edict that I will edify you so as to elucidate with burlesque hyperbole in an anfractuous modus operandi. If you are wondering just what TF I just said, then you don't know what the definitions are for the words used. And THAT is EXACTLY my point. In the case of my example above, when you got to a word you didn't know the definition to, you knew that you didn't know what the word meant; you knew you might not be able to figure the meaning of the word out by usage and context. You absolutely must know the meanings of the words used in order to understand what I just communicated to you. You absolutely must know the proper definitions of the "terms" used in the laws in order to understand the laws. Here's the truth about the laws, hidden in the open by the sneaky, lying scum that write them -- They RE-define the meanings of common words to make them into "terms". A term is a custom defined word or phrase. You may think you know what the law is telling you, but you are going to be wrong if you don't know what the words, or more precisely the terms, mean. I will examine and explain that point in more detail when we get to the appropriate point with the actual words and terms of the tax laws. Are you ready for the understanding. Are you ready for the truth. Do you want the truth? (Why does Jack Nicholsen come to mind? "You want the truth? You can't handle the truth!") It is my edict that I will edify you so as to elucidate with burlesque hyperbole in an anfractuous modus operandi literally means: It is my formal pronouncement that I will instruct you to encourage intellectual improvement with a ludicrous and mocking imitation to make clear and plain with exaggeration for emphasis and effect in a twisted, turning, tortuous manner. Here's another one: The transparent, fused silicon, oxygen / nitrogen gas deflection device, vertically mounted, Is suffering degradation of performance due to the high kinetic contact of invertebrates. The chitinous exoskeleton ruptures allowing visceral leakage and subsequent non-uniform application of the abdominal substance, Thereby causing delta positive of the opacity of said transparent, fused silicon, oxygen / nitrogen gas deflection device. Here's the required definitions: transparent,
fused silicon = glass
oxygen / nitrogen gas = air if not moving, wind if moving gas deflection device, vertically mounted = windshield Is suffering degradation of performance = efficiency is less than 100% & dropping high kinetic contact = collision at high speed invertebrates = no internal skeleton chitinous = principal component of arthropod exoskeletons exoskeleton = the shell of a bug ruptures allowing visceral leakage = busts open and the guts ooze out subsequent non-uniform application = randomly applied abdominal substance = the guts (again) delta positive = increase opacity = the amount of no transmittal of light Reconstructing the sentence from the proper meanings: The glass winshield is not working as well as it was because the high speed collisions with non skeleton arthropods (bugs) cracks the bug's shell open and the bug's guts get on the windshield in spots all over it (windshield) making it harder to see. The short and simple English: The
windshield
is dirty with bug-splat.
Keep this in mind whenever you see the word "income" in the Internal Revenue Code. Ask youself, 'Do they mean the Constitutional 16th. Amendment "income", or do they mean American Heritage's dictionary definition of income? Sixteenth Amendment "income" is "gain derived from capital, from labor, or from both combined arising from corporate activities, provided it be understood to include profit gained through sale or conversion of capital assets". And American Heritage Electronic Dictionary says income is "1. The amount of money or its equivalent received during a period of time in exchange for labor or services, from the sale of goods or property, or as profit from financial investments. 2. The act of coming in; entrance." It's the Definitions, Dummy. |
