Let's teach kids to be MORE insular, self-centered, disrespectful, and uncaring.

Frankly, that's an absolutely disgusting, inhuman, abhorrent attitude and it is ABSOLUTELY INSULAR AND DISRESPECTFUL.

Three parts of communication. What is said (written), what is heard (perceived), the concept actually meant to be communicated.

I admit to having my own special bias, narrative, and agenda. Your quoted comments triggered my... Intense disagreement with what I understand you to be saying. I could be in error. Being in error is who learning happens. So to use today's BS vernacular, I'm fact checking my opinions with the source - you.

Would you expound upon insular, self-centered, and uncaring?

I've left disrespectful out of the list on purpose. That one requires an intense drill-down.
