Apparently "Boomer" is used as an insulting epithet by the young and inexperienced.

I'm a Boomer and I own it. I have less time to live than I have already lived.

I'm tired and very unhappy with the amount of stupidity I see in the world. I am not suicidal. Even so, dropping dead removes my contact with the masses of indoctrinated ignorant.

As a Boomer, the realization that age discrimination exists means my stance of rejecting the delusional beliefs of the masses won't be the reason for my not being hired. Based on that epiphany, I no longer will segregate my noms de plume or my noms de guerre from my actual name.
